James Neal previously served as Commercial Manager at DrDoctor, where he played a crucial role in supporting over 20 NHS Trusts and Health Boards on their digital transformation journeys.
With over a decade of experience working in healthcare, James has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the sector, making him a valuable addition to our team.
Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a passion for improving healthcare services through technology. His international experience, having lived and worked overseas in countries without a national health service, has given him a unique perspective and a deeper appreciation for the NHS. This background has motivated him to actively contribute to the NHS’s growth and success, ensuring it thrives rather than merely survives.
Expressing his enthusiasm about joining the EBO team, James stated, “My favourite thing about working in healthcare technology is supporting providers in finding creative, technology-based solutions, to the problems that are affecting Trusts throughout the country. My new role at EBO provides me with a perfect platform to better support Trusts with the challenges affecting so many, as we find ways to release both operational and clinical capacity, improve productivity, and increase clinic utilisation.”

Outside of his professional life, James is first and foremost a family man, about to celebrate his 9th wedding anniversary, and a proud father of three wonderful children. In his free time, he enjoys watching or playing rugby, participating in obstacle course races, and walking his Caucasian Shepherd, Maui.
