Dr. Gege Gatt to Deliver Keynote at Digital Health Hackathon Malta 2026

Excited to be part of the Digital Health Hackathon Malta 2026!

EBO’s CEO, Dr. Gege Gatt, will deliver a keynote address at the Digital Health Hackathon Malta 2026, bringing his expertise in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and healthcare innovation to an event dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare.

Organised by the IEEE Malta Section and the University of Malta’s Faculty of ICT, in collaboration with the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA), the hackathon will bring together approximately 40 participants from healthcare, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, research, business and other disciplines for an intensive 48-hour innovation experience.

Working in multidisciplinary teams, participants will develop practical, technology-driven solutions to real-world healthcare challenges, exploring new approaches to improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

The event will open on Friday, 30 October 2026, with a keynote address by Dr. Gatt, followed by a reverse-pitch session in which healthcare and industry representatives will present challenges for participants to tackle throughout the hackathon.
