EBO’s healthcare leadership team participated in the Hett Digital Academy Leadership Summit 2022 on the 22nd November 2022. The inaugural event, designed to bring together the best of the UK’s Healthcare Ecosystem, touched upon big-picture challenges and pressing issues as well as shared care records, data analytics, AI in healthcare and digital exclusions from health inequalities.

EBO’s Healthcare Director, Paul Boland, presented a talk titled ‘Conversational AI: A Digital Response to NHS Impact at Pace‘. Here he discussed how Conversational AI can enable NHS Trust’s websites to become an effective digital front door that provides patient self-care and automates patient-facing processes. 

Paul stated that NHS Trust websites attract approximately 48,000 visitors per month, the majority of patients, looking to self-serve.
