Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge AI solutions in the financial services sector, specifically targeting banks, insurance companies, and forex clients. This role is pivotal to expanding our footprint in a fast-growing market, helping financial institutions leverage AI to enhance customer engagement, automate processes, and deliver personalised experiences.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, understanding their unique business needs, and demonstrating how our AI solutions can drive measurable results. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B technology sales, ideally within the financial services sector, and brings a consultative, client-first approach to selling.

This role also typically involves educating prospects about EBO’s products, conducting demos, evaluating technical and business solutions, and being a trusted advisor to prospects who are looking to evaluate EBO’s solutions.

Job Responsibilities

a) Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting banks, insurance companies, and forex clients.

b) Own and achieve agreed revenue targets

c) Identify and pursue upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

d) Engage and address customer concerns, pain points and actively solicit customer ideas for new features, functionalities, tools, and modules of EBO’s solution.

e) Proactively identify opportunities to expand EBO’s product offerings within the financial services sector. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and challenges, positioning additional solutions that align with their goals.

f) Be a liaison and customer voice by selling collective customer ideas, issues, pain points, etc. to our Product team.

g) Lead the renewal sales cycle from proposal stage through to contract execution.

h) Partner with our Solution Delivery team to execute strategies to deepen product usage, improve customer engagement, and maximise outcomes and experience.

i) Partner with our Product team in key areas to develop deep understanding of how our solution is used and inform customer success plans to drive deeper product usage, increased sell-through and retention.

j) Maintain and develop customer success strategies and best practices, as well as customer support content, working with marketing to execute.

k) Maintain existing customer success metrics and data as directed. Present internally (to EBO’s team) and externally to customer stakeholders

l) Keep a pulse on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to identify new business opportunities.

Job Requirements

a) Bachelor’s Degree required.

b) Minimum of 3+ years experience in sales, with proven leadership experience in driving sales within the financial services sector. Candidate should demonstrate success in managing high-value accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and leading strategic initiatives

c) Direct experience with sales, account management, or customer success within the financial services sector having achieved a minimum annual target of €500k in sales.

d) Strong verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills.

e) Strong track record of sales accomplishments and leading commercial negotiations in a quota-carrying role

f) Experience in Sales of a software platform or product.

g) Proven expertise working with the executive level in client environments, as well as with procurement, business owners, etc.

h) Experience representing the customer to internal product stake holders.

i) Experience developing compelling presentations and/or sales approaches for both end customers as well as internal consumption.

j) Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities.

k) Extraordinary depth of digital product knowledge and general understanding of AI and its capabilities.

l) Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills;

m) Good knowledge of MS Office applications, in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook;

n) Experience of using a Customer Relationship Management system

o) Logical thinker who is able to recognise opportunities for creating new business sales and

improving customer services;

p) Able to manage change effectively;

q) Energetic, enthusiastic and resilient;

r) Ability to work using own initiative.
